I believe as an artist I have a responsibility to speak about and bring awareness to social and environmental issues. I find it is becoming necessary for individuals to get involved in the protection of our environment at a grass roots level. For this reason the focus of my work in the past has been about the impact of pollution on the environment. The last three years were spent on a project entitled nuncA MÁIS (Galician for never again). This Multi media urban experience explored the effects of oil spills in our oceans. Creating experiences for the viewer is a large part of my work

The focus for future projects will be in creating works that will benefit and inspire a community of people. Art should be for all people to experience freely and unexpectedly in their day-to-day lives. If I can create an experience and say something to inform individuals to make conscious decisions about their environment, then I feel I have succeeded in some significant way.
